Powerlifting Coaching
Wanting to get into powerlifting?
Unsure of how to do it?
Plateauing on your strength goals?

Scared of getting up on the platform?

This option can help.

This option has been created in order to get around the solitary side of powerlifting. With this option you can have regular sessions with me and the other lifters in order to foster the family atmosphere while getting you incredibly strong and platform ready.

You'll learn how to -

- Squat, bench and deadlift to competition standard.
- Train in a safe and optimal manner.
- Enjoy training in a team atmosphere.
I am a better athlete because of Danny Lee. I am faster, stronger, more powerful and a better shape than before I started training with him. Consistent results and also he genuinely cares about your progress.

Charles recently competed and hit a 165kg squat, 92.5 bench press and a 200kg deadlift at his first competition.

"When I first started training with Danny 2 years ago, I was in pretty bad shape. I had bad knees that had been made much worse by a previous PT. I couldn't squat, and using the stairs (or at times even just walking) left me in a lot of pain. I was told at physio that I would always have pain and should avoid all exercise except walking! So I switched physios and was told that I could improve my knees by strengthening my legs.
Unlike the previous PT I had, Danny listened to what I could and couldn't do and devised a plan that both made me feel like I was actually working out and also didn't make my injuries worse. Danny has continually adapted that plan as my ability and goals have changed.
Not only has my strength improved to the point that I no longer have knee pain but lifting weights is now something that I really enjoy, and, with Danny's help, I have competed in two powerlifting competitions this year.
There have been a few tricky moments along the way, especially as my previous injury left me without the confidence to squat heavy weights, but Danny's training and encouragement has instilled that confidence and made me stronger. I'm looking forward to see what I can achieve in future competitions."

The Two Main Components of the Plan
Online Plan
Whether you go for a monthly, 6 month or 12 month block you will receive a plan which is updated on a weekly basis. This allows for the plan to be customised and regulated to the individual.
As well as this, the consistent updates allow for alterations to be made to get the best out of the program and to avoid any injuries.

The obvious beauty of the online plan is that you are not restricted to living in Liverpool or the surrounding areas. Regardless of what country or continent you are in I can offer at service to help you achieve your goals.
Team Training
In conjunction with the online plan, you can choose to partake in team training sessions which are held at least twice a month.
As of February 2017, these sessions could be being held weekly.
The benefits to these sessions include, but are not limited to :-

-
1:1 Coaching with myself. This allows for any form improvements to be made or questions to be asked.
-
Being part of a growing team within Taylor's Strength Training.
What You Get in The Plan
Online Training
As part of your online plan you will get a plan tailored to you as an individual with weekly updates. This plan will include your powerlifting programme as well as any mobility or cardio you may need to reach your goals.
I will check in with you weekly via a feedback form but you will also have exclusive access to the Facebook group for the powerlifters under Danny Lee Fitness.
Team Training Sessions
Throughout 2016 we had great success with the bi-monthly team training sessions. So for 2017 I want to increase these and take them upto a weekly frequency.
Training together on a weekly basis will help to foster a family and team atmosphere amongst you and other powerlifters of varying experience. This support can be particularly helpful in the build up to competitions and on the day itself.

In 2016 I started coaching powerlifters specifically for competitions and have so far seen great success.

As a writer I have had articles shared on sites such Healthy Living Heavy Lifting, Propane Fitness and Titanium Strength. I also maintain a blog on this site with work by myself and other writers.
I have been competing in powerlifting since late 2014. In that time I have competed at a regional, divisional and national level. As well as this I currently hold the 10th best total in the Northwest 93kg class.
Is this the plan for you?
A question that a lot of people ask when considering powerlifting is whether or not they are strong enough to compete? The answer I invariably give is that it isn't about how strong you are but the time you have and the support you discover.
With this plan you will have a great time with an excellent team around you, who will support you through whatever competition you choose to lift at.
As well as this, I will be there to get you as strong as possible.
Why is now the right time?
As mentioned above, the powerlifters at Danny Lee Fitness saw great success in 2016 so as of next month (February 2017) we will be opening it up to more group sessions per month. Ideally occe per week with a view to more tan this further down the line.

Even if you are not looking at competing any time soon this plan is worth doing so that when you do decide to take the plunge, you will not only be ready but also have a great support structure behind you.
